Subject + 把 + Object + Verb (+ Resultative Complement)
例子: disposal “bǎ “, e.g. 他把我的钱都花了。He has all my money spent.
“被” 的练习
Object + 被 + Subject + Verb (+ Resultative Complement)
例子: passive voice “bèi”, e.g. 我的钱被他都花了。All my money was spent by him.
Translate the following, using 把 or 被. (Do not do.) on Teams
- Wang Peng took away (拿走) the book Li You had not finished reading.
- My girlfriend sold (卖) her ex-boyfriend’s car.
- My kid brother drank the coffee I bought for my mom.
- The teacher ate the cake I made yesterday.
- Her younger brother has lost (弄丢 nòng diū) the computer his dad gave him.
- You have said what I wanted to say.
- We have finished doing the work the teacher gave us.
- My little sister sang the song dad liked to listen to.
- She has studied Chinese well.
- Students have understood what the teacher said.
** No need for 什么 to represent “what”; click the embedded link to see samples of “what”, which is the same way for 大的(big ones)、便宜的(cheap ones)、容易的(easy ones)、好吃的(delicious ones)、etc.

- 他被退休(tuì xiū)了。He is coerced to retire.
